Monique Evans is the Owner of Children's Pride, Inc. and Founder & President of The Children's Pride Foundation. This Detroit, Michigan native and former Corporate Professional who worked for a major Fortune 500 company now reflects back on the countless days she spent away from her home and family while on business. "I recall being in three different cities in a single day. Not very conducive for starting a family," she now says jokingly. Monique later did a stint in retail as a Brand Ambassador Manager with a major online children's retailer and found that she loved advising clients on the latest fashion trends and styles. ?
She was inspired to start shopping and consulting others after receiving numerous compliments from family members, friends and the general public on how well dressed her son was. In 2006, this first time mother launched Children's Pride, Inc., a luxury boutique Kids Personal Shopping Firm that incorporated style savvy sensibility and pure economics to cloth her son and the children of her clients. She was determined not to become compliance and in 2008, she launched a Kids Talent Casting Agency and Kids Event Planning firm.
In 2009, she started The Children’s Pride Foundation that enriches the lives of children, single parents and needy families by providing assistance in the form of clothing items, personal care & baby products, school supplies and food. The Foundation advances this mission by exposing youth to cultural events and by motivating and encouraging kids & teens to stay in school and continue their education beyond the high school level.
